As I refer to my blog once more and trying to check if there is flaws which I left behind, it is quite tiring. Designing my blog takes time to think and choose the color I wanted my audiences (viewers) to perceive so as they lay back and relax and enjoy reading my articles (posts).
One of the many important things I learn while blogging seriously is that I need to know who are target audiences. Without them, it is merely pointless to blog about. Blogging seriously is almost like working as a journalist. Therefore, I need to check for relevant sources and how credible and reliable are the quotes and other articles too.

Actually for me, I don't care how attractive a blog site looks, I care about content. If its long and boring but has a sophisticated design, its not worth a look. But if the design is crap but the content is good, then I'd read it on any day. Different people, different tastes i guess. Btw, good topic to blog on, dude.
I would say that appearance matters to catch the eye of the reader.. When the design has done its job in getting the attention of the viewer, they would head on to read what the blog is about. And to me that is most important..
Show me a boring layout, and I wont even bother with the content.. In which case, I would say that your blog have definitely grab the attention through colours. So well done! =)
My blog is actually for myself to view only. Others are welcome too. But recently no mood to blog.
I have to say, The appearance of the blog layout is important as well as the content in the blog. If the blog is not attractive, it'll never catch the eyes of most viewers and they might just go to other blogs. The content is also important, if it's down straight boring no one will read it. no matter how fancy ur blog layout is.
So yeah.
